Tohatsu Outboard Propeller Chart
Find the right genuine Tohatsu propeller and prop hardware for your outboard. Choose your horsepower below to see every recommended prop for that motor, with diameter, pitch, number of blades, recommended load and the Tohatsu part number. Click a part number to order it.
Never use a prop that lets your outboard run above its maximum recommended RPM.We recommend checking the motor with a tachometer to make sure it runs within the correct maximum RPM range.

Load* - what it means
| Light | 100 - 500 lb. |
| Moderate | 500 - 1,500 lb. |
| Heavy | 1,500 - 3,000+ lb. |
| NA | Stainless props and some aluminum props fit many models, so performance varies too much to give one load type. |
Diameter and pitch
- A prop is described by diameter first, then pitch: a 12" x 9" prop has a 12-inch diameter and a 9-inch pitch.
- Pitch is how far the boat would move in one turn of the prop. In real life it moves a little less - this is called slippage.
- Higher pitch: more top-end speed, slower acceleration (hole-shot).
- Lower pitch: quicker hole-shot, for example to pull up water skiers, but less top-end speed.
- The right prop lets the engine reach its full rated RPM - and so its full horsepower. Hull design, load and how you use the boat all make a difference.
